This Troopy is a rare vehicle. It is one of 215 purchased by the Australian Army for use by Norforce in the Top end. They were purchased by the Army for a number of reasons. Reliabilty in harsh conditions, availability of parts and the fact they were diesel rather than Petrol like the Landrovers of the time.
This particualr Troopy has its original soft top, Roll cage, Dual Tanks and rear seats.
It is rust free and in very good condition.
